Thieves (28) - Chaos

Aidan
Aidan

Aidan is smaller and weaker than most efreet, which is why she prefers to live among softer races such as humans. Since her profession requires her to be inconspicuous, Aidan has learned to perform her crimes only when another one of her race has made an appearance to throw off the trail.

Andria
Andria

Andria earned some success as a minotaur gladiator due to her wiry strength and great cunning, but she knew she would soon perish to one of the larger, bulkier males. So, she left the arenas to explore the world, hunt for treasure, and occasionally rob an unwary traveler.

Flaren
Flaren

Flaren abandoned her orc tribe because ideals like honor and glory meant nothing to her. Instead, she preferred the quick kill and some gold in her pocket. Instant gratification is important to this impatient and mean-spirited female.

Gretchin
Gretchin

Gretchin believed in Kilgor's plan for world domination and trusted in his leadership. Her loyalty got her entire tribe killed. Now, furious and troubled with guilt, Gretchin has become a loner who lashes out at everyone around her. Without the laws of her tribe to guide her, she's free to do as she wishes.

Hoogula
Hoogula

Hoogula didn't even know she was a female until her adolescence. Her father wanted a boy so badly that her mother lied and did everything in her power to cover up that lie. Today, Hoogula still doesn't act like a female, and becomes extremely violent at the slightest hint she might be inferior.

Jael
Jael

Jael's name is actually a type of high mountain goat. It was given to her as an insult because she prefers to live alone in the mountains rather than the minotaur communities. Now, she accepts the name proudly because this mountain goat has robbed more minotaur merchants than anyone.

Kineta
Kineta

Kineta has trouble retaining her interest in any one job for long, so she has dipped her fingers into just about everything from merchant, to thief, to spy. It doesn't matter what she's doing as long as it is fun, and her idea of fun usually involves some form of wanton destruction.

Lorelei
Lorelei

Shortly after the Reckoning, Lorelei began a crime wave that earned her the nickname "Nightblade." She robbed more communities than anyone can imagine, stashing her plunder in secret caches. She was a one-woman scourge. Whenever the pressure is on, Lorelei simply disappears to some secret hideout for a few months.

Octavia
Octavia

Octavia is an accomplished thief with the legendary ability to slip unseen into any location. Whether that is true or not, Octavia has been quite successful in the past. She would be a wealthy efreet today if not for her ridiculous spending habits.

Sizz
Sizz

Sizz specializes in obtaining things that are not hers, performing these crimes as much for the fun of it as the notoriety. It is rumored that somewhere inside a live volcano, Sizz keeps a vault filled with a massive treasure, but this is unlikely since she is always complaining about being poor.

Tacita
Tacita

Tacita never feels the need to brag about the elaborate crimes she has committed, which is why she hasn't been caught. Being a minotaur makes her an unlikely suspect for crimes that require finesse, yet Tacita earns a good living performing just those sorts of robberies.

Valynne
Valynne

A true thief at heart, Valynne causes trouble wherever she goes. Although she has spent many nights in a dungeon, she has avoided the noose so far. Valynne lives in the present, never looking to the future because she expects to die at any moment.

Tawni
Tawni

It took a cutthroat attitude and calculating ambition for Tawni to survive the rough sailor towns where she was raised. When this fiercely independent woman became a pirate, she soon followed her infamous father’s footsteps and became the scourge of the sea. No matter how much Tawni gains, however, it is never enough.

Erica Fade
Erica Fade

Erica's life was ruined by war when her entire family was slaughtered. She only escaped by hiding in a nearby forest. That day, she realized that life is meaningless, so she might as well take care of 'number one'. That's when she became Erica Fade.

Ajit
Ajit

Ajit is at home in the dank tunnels and caves of the world, but has come to realize that the real wealth is to be had in the open air. People may mine gold from deep underground, but they store it all in vaults above ground where Ajit can steal it all at once.

Calistar
Calistar

Calistar is somewhat of a hero among minotaurs. His bold raids have brought back more wealth than three other minotaurs combined, and he has defeated countless challengers in feats of strength. Even worse, Calistar is beginning to believe all the remarkable things people say about him.

Dace
Dace

Dace is a veteran leader of the minotaurs who has seen more fights than he can remember. He claims to have been trained by the minotaur god of war, and so has dedicated his life to endless conflict. What he fails to mention is that many of the people he has killed never knew he was coming.

Flaym
Flaym

Flaym is an unpredictable leader capable of using just about anything to get the edge over his enemy. Unfortunately, the word has spread that he will sacrifice his own troops if need be. The only reason they continue fighting for him is they fear Flaym more than death.

Gruezak
Gruezak

Gruezak started as a cook in Kilgor's army but deserted shortly before the final battle that brought about the Reckoning. Many of the orc tribes were wiped out during that war, including his own. Now, Gruezak, like so many orcs, has resorted to banditry and other crimes simply to survive.

Gundross
Gundross

Unlike most of his race, Gundross is a master of adapting to new situations. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, he reacts with complete confidence in his ability to come up with a plan in an instant. This creative way of dealing with things has been his secret to success.

Hafir
Hafir

Hafir developed an intense hatred for genies after centuries of battling his blue cousins, but he's also developed a reputation for knowing them better than any other efreet. When his actions aren't clouded by his hatred, Hafir is an excellent commander and a formidable opponent.

Kardd
Kardd

Kardd was a trader for most of his life, selling his wares all over Erathia (marked up 300 percent, of course). After the Reckoning, he lost many of his contacts and all of his trade routes. His business was over. So, now he spends his time robbing the men who used to be his competitors.

Madmarik
Madmarik

Not only is Madmarik capable of notorious fits of fury, but he's probably the largest living orc today. Perhaps it's his size, but he isn't afraid of anything and boasts that there isn't a man or creature capable of beating him in a one-on-one fight. As of yet, no one has proved him wrong.

Nazibar
Nazibar

Nazibar will do anything for the right price, and his price is usually high. He even claims that he is using his ill-gotten wealth to employ his own personal army of mercenaries. Supposedly, this army waits at some undisclosed location to attack at his slightest command.

Rufus
Rufus

Rufus started his career as a brawler, living off the power of his fists and the money he won betting on himself. When that wasn't enough, he started ambushing drunks outside taverns or roughing up merchants on the open road. Rufus doesn't care much for laws, and takes great pride in breaking them.

Runagark
Runagark

Runagark is motivated entirely by his stomach. If he were a wealthy orc, he would be too fat to walk. As it is, he is forced to steal whatever gold he needs to buy his meals because he's not about to waste his time with a real job.

Pete Girly
Pete Girly

Pete is famous for his skills in torture and interrogation. He is a dangerous man to have as an enemy, but can’t be trusted as an ally either. He gets his odd name from his extremely long, blonde hair - a joke he accepts with pride now, but the man who first made it up is long dead.

Captain Swift
Captain Swift

Captain Swift is the infamous captain of the pirate ship, Assassin. Although he is as merciless as any rogue, he sometimes exhibits a sense of honor that most pirates scoff at. Perhaps there is some truth to the rumor that Swift used to be an admiral in the Queen's navy.

Sorcerers (26) - Chaos

Aathea
Aathea

Whether it's a war with genies, or humans, or even her own kind, the opponent doesn't matter to Aathea. Everyone and everything is fair game in her book. Likewise, Aathea is not above using whatever means it takes to win, because the winner is the one who gets to live.

Atella
Atella

Atella is a teacher as well as a mage, although it has been a while since she took an apprentice. She's highly respected among minotaur society, and feared because she somehow knows everyone's darkest secrets and isn't afraid to expose them.

Helice
Helice

Helice is capable of devoting hours to study and contemplation, but when she is done she usually bursts into a violent rage that has been known to last for the better part of a day. Her unpredictable behavior makes those around her edgy, but no one is going to tell her to go away either.

Isa
Isa

Isa believes she wasted too many years serving a cruel human master who only ended up getting himself killed in battle, leaving her nothing. Now, she seldom rests because she's trying to make up for lost time, and she relies on no one but herself.

Mayweda
Mayweda

How can such a pretty young girl become such a dangerous woman? Mayweda may be beautiful, the type who might need to be rescued by a knight, but she's more likely to drop a poisonous snake down the armor of any brave hero who comes to her aid.

Mered
Mered

Mered comes from a long line of orc women who were tribal sorcerers, so it was easy for her to slip into this profession. She would've continued as a primitive spellcaster if the Reckoning hadn't killed most of her tribe. Now, she wants more than to follow the path of her foremothers. She wants wealth and power.

Nefafareen
Nefafareen

Ancient even for an efreet, Nefafareen is credited as the first of her kind to abandon her innate powers to wield magic. All efreeti sorcerers have either been taught by Nefafareen or by one of her students. Until recently, she has lived exclusively on the Plane of Fire, traveling to this realm now for an unspoken reason.

Pythia
Pythia

Pythia served a powerful sorcerer for decades to learn the secrets of his power. When there was nothing more to learn, she abandoned the old man to his enemies and set out to create an empire of her own. So far, however, she has only managed to make a name for herself as a deadly robber.

Raona
Raona

Raona was raised in an Erathian orphanage run by monks who put all the children on a strict regimen of chores, study, prayer, and more chores. Not one moment of fun. To this day she still fights tooth and nail against any hint of order or common sense, and just wants to shake things up!

Sephinroth
Sephinroth

Sephinroth was amused when the Reckoning destroyed Erathia and ended the Gryphonheart line. She even admits that her claim to be a Gryphonheart began as an extortion attempt that backfired when the King refused to pay. Now, this scandalous woman is on to bigger and better things!

Yorpix
Yorpix

Yorpix became a sorcerer because no orc male would have such an independent female as a mate. Besides, she didn’t want one of those weaklings anyway. Few people can put up with Yorpix's abuse, and now that she has magic at her command many fear her unpredictable temper.

Yoru
Yoru

Yoru showed a talent for magic at an early age, so her family sent her away to study under a human sorcerer. As she traveled the world with her teacher, she studied its various races with great interest, but there is one race she wishes she knew more about - minotaurs.

Cyrca
Cyrca

Cyrca is the daughter of a powerful medusa sorceress and a human necromancer. She later followed in her mother’s footsteps and became a leader of her people. Although she is not a real medusa (and can’t turn anyone into stone), she has held her rule thanks to her considerable magical talent.

Ajwar
Ajwar

Long, tiring marches and bloody battles were not to Ajwar's liking, so he studied magic instead. Now, he can obliterate an opponent from a great distance. For him, this is a much more sensible means of combat, especially if he can do it when they're not looking.

Charzir
Charzir

Charzir is a young efreet filled with such a passion for chaos that even among his own kind he's considered impetuous and wild. He loves games of chance, sometimes wagering even his own life on the roll of the dice. To Charzir, it's not the winning but the uncertainty that is exciting.

Darkstorm
Darkstorm

Darkstorm has proven time and again that any who challenge him meet a quick end. He continues to be a dangerous and powerful presence in this new world where his reputation precedes him like the dark clouds before a thunderstorm.

Uvodd
Uvodd

In his youth, Uvodd rode the high seas aboard a pirate vessel, protecting it with his destructive magical powers. A tidal wave sunk his ship and nearly drowned him as well, but he beat the storm in the same way he defeats all his enemies - persistence.

Iboz
Iboz

Iboz is often called the "Warrior's Sorcerer" because he gets along well with the common grunt. Besides, someone with his power is always good to have around. Often, mercenaries follow him from war to war because Iboz always joins the side with the best chance of victory.

Jeddite
Jeddite

Some sorcerers may enjoy causing destruction, but Jeddite worships it. He is a dark fanatic wholly committed to the ultimate dissolution of the universe. No one knows why he adopted such insane beliefs, but neither can anyone convince him to turn to another path.

Kaspar
Kaspar

Kaspar spent several years in an Erathian prison for impersonating a noble and accumulating more than 100,000 gold in debt. While in the dungeons, however, he learned magic from an old, nameless sorcerer. When an earthquake shattered the wall to his cell, Kaspar escaped through the nearest portal to the new world.

Maddox
Maddox

There is something to be said about the diligence of the minotaurs. Maddox was a smith, destined to forge axes for the rest of his life. Instead of accepting his fate, he studied magic at night until he was good enough to leave the forge and embark on a life of conquest.

Mastero
Mastero

Mastero always follows the path of least resistance, which is why he usually keeps a few servants around. If he can get someone else to do the job, he will. Even in battle, he has been known to let others soften up the enemy before he finishes them off and takes all the credit.

Norzok
Norzok

Norzok fell in love with the sea the first time he set eyes on it, and when he saw his first hurricane he dreamed of some day controlling one. This dream led him to kidnap a sorcerer and hold him captive for several years, forcing the poor man to teach him magic. But even now, Norzok isn't satisfied.

Ritzil
Ritzil

After running away from his tribe when he was young, Ritzil was found and raised by a sadistic ogre mage. Ritzil was always mischievous, but his time with the ogre gave him an imagination cruel and creative enough to blend mayhem and magic into a new and very deadly art form.

Xyron
Xyron

Xyron felt the Kreegan demons failed all too often, so he convinced his fellow efreeti to end their alliance with them. Now, his people are freer than they have ever been. Free to burn what they want, when they want, and nothing will stop them from scorching the entire world black!

Scorage
Scorage

Scorage's actions are ruled by his instincts, no matter the situation. If he is hungry and has no money, he steals some food. If he dislikes someone or some thing, he attacks it. This behavior might make many enemies, but Scorage rarely lets them live for long.
